JAVA Developer-Cyber Systems


The Java Developer will provide software engineering support for the design, development and test of new functionalities and enhancements, responsible for performing development, integration, test and documentation duties on assigned tasks and responsible for adhering to accepted standards for development including design reviews, peer code reviews and unit tests.


Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technology.
• 5 years experience as a software developer performing requirement analysis design, code and testing
• 5 years experience as a Java programmer and as a Java Swing programmer
• 2 years experience using Enterprise JavaBeans 3.0 specification
• Proficiency in the use of a J2EE or Java EE 5 application server, Maven 2.0, Eclipse, and in the use of a CM tool.
• Must have TS/SCI clearance with a poly.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of NSA's SIGINT mission systems
• Familiarity with JBoss V4.x, Subversion/Trac interface, Oracle 10g/9i/8i PL/SQL, XML DOM, web services SOAP 1.1/1/2 WSDL 1.1, Agile Software development
