Senior Contracts Specialist

Air Management Systems (AMS) Contracts Group has an immediate opening for a qualified candidate who will be responsible for all facets of contract administration for the Boeing 787-8 (sustaining) and 787-9 (development) programs.
Responsibilities include: commercial purchase orders into JDE system, process planning sheets with consuming partners and customer returned material. Also, review and acknowledge purchase orders, support in hardware and software shipments, generate and track invoices, support customer meetings regarding contractual activity and support daily activity with internal customers regarding purchase orders /sales orders.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: proposal preparation, review and negotiation of contract terms and conditions, order reviews and acknowledgements, flow down of contract requirements and amendments, price negotiations, preparation of contract agreements, including non-disclosure agreements and memoranda of agreement, change management, order demand management, account receivable monitoring, contract file maintenance, and contract close-out.
Air Management Systems (AMS) is a leading supplier of air conditioning systems (air cycle and vapor cycle), liquid cooling systems, temperature control systems, pressurization control systems, ventilation control systems, electric fans, ice protection, humidification and fuel tank (NGS)inerting systems.
As a total system supplier, AMS provides ventilation, thermal management and pressurization control for aircraft of all types and sizes. With over forty (40) years of experience in designing and delivering aerospace air cycle and air management systems; AMS is one of the world leaders in the commercial, regional, and business aircraft market(s).
Successful candidate must be a self starter; an effective communicator (written & verbal), posses strong analytical and problem solving skills; possess strong computer skills (JD Edwards knowledge is a plus); able to manage multiple internal and external customers, work well under time constraints and in a fast-paced dynamic program environment.
Candidate will support company ACE initiatives, including standard work and business financial goals.
Business team participation in a matrix organizational structure is expected.

2 - 7+ years of experience in Contracts Administration. Experience to include administration of complex Commercial and/or Government type contracts. Working knowledge of various contract types, commercial contracts/FAA/aerospace regulations, and/or defense acquisition regulations, and experience with US Government export requirements/regulations is desired.
