Worker’s Compensation Claims Adjuster

Overview:
Macy's, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for the Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster position located in Cincinnati, OH.
Key Accountabilities :
  • Investigating and handling litigated and non-litigated workers compensation claims in multiple venues.
  • Medical management of workers compensation claims.
  • Analyzing, evaluating, and negotiating workers' compensation claims.
  • Reserving claims and authorizing medical treatment and bills.
  • Provide customer service, utilizing and managing various vendors, medical providers, injured workers, and divisional contacts.
Skills Summary :
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 1 to 2 years of claims handling or related experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, and Claims Information Systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to write business letters.
  • Strong analytical abilities in assessing work compensation claims
